Adamawa Governor, Fintiri appoints 30 Special Advisers


Ahmadu Fintiri, the Governor of Adamawa State, has approved the appointment of 30 special advisers.

The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Humwashi Wonosikou, in a statement, said the state Assembly had earlier approved his principal’s request to appoint special advisers.

The 30 new special advisers include Halilu Malabu, Halilu Lamu, Honourable Ishaku Tala, Alhaji Buba Sugu, Ibrahim Gisilambe, Honourable Usman Diyajo, Adamu Babikkoi, Honourable Abdulrahman Bobboi, Murbuge Abraham, Safrat Dungus, Alvari Gundiri

Others are Augustine James, Idris Jada, Bala Mohammed, Hilda Makanto, Honourable Justina Nkom, Abubakar Chiwaren, Retired General Mormoni Bashir, Robert Ahidjo, Dr Reuben Wazatigye, amongst others.

According to the statement, the Governor said the appointment is based on merit, competence, and personal integrity, just as he directed that the appointees submit copies of their curriculum vitae on or before Friday, September 29.
