The Founder and Chairman, Bright Broadcasting Limited, Owners of Diamond FM network and Diamond TV Online, Apostle Oluwole Awotuyi, has called on religious faithfuls to continue to live by example and be a shining light to the nation.

He also charged religious leaders to counsel those in various positions of leadership in a bid to make them lead in the way of the Lord, be more responsible and responsive to the yearnings of the people.

He gave the charge in a statement personally signed by him and released in Ilorin on Sunday, June 16, 2024, to rejoice with the Muslim community on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-kabir. 

Awotuyi said the Eid-el-Kabir celebration should also remind us of the call to be sacrificial in our worship of God and in our service to humanity. 

He underscored the significance of showing love to others, lending helping hands to the needy and co-existing with others peacefully.

The media proprietor enjoined the Muslim Ummah to always portray the teachings of Prophet Mohammed.

Apostle Awotuyi implored them to remember Nigeria and its leaders in prayers as they celebrate Sallah.

He also charged the Muslim faithful to celebrate in moderation.
