CCT Awards Varsity Scholarship to Outstanding Students, Foots WAEC Bills


In a remarkable display of commitment to education and fulfillment of promises, Crown Charity Trust, a Non Governmental Organisation operating in Europe and Africa has sponsored West African Examination Council (WAEC) for five outstanding students at the grand finale and award ceremony of the just concluded FILSU summer lesson event.

The Trust, as part of its efforts to reduce out of school children in Nigeria, partnered the Federation of Iwoland Students Union (FILSU) to organise summer lessons and celebrate outstanding academic performance.

Different categories of prizes awarded include: best performance in Mathematics, best performance in English, best performance in Chemistry, etc.

The beneficiaries of the CCT WAEC sponsorship are Owolabi Abdul Quadri (Art Class), Misturah Kehinde Aishat (Art Class), Eyebiokin Jolaoluwa (Science Class), Salawu Hammed (Science Class), and John Ifeoluwa (Science Class).

Crown Charity Trust will also sponsor any of the five students with the best WAEC results in any federal universities of their choice in Nigeria.

This initiative aims to reduce the number of out of school children, empower talented students, and foster academic excellence in the community.

The event was graced by all the students in Iwoland, parents, teachers, and other dignitaries.

Representing CCT at the event were the Secretary General of the organization, Babatunde Azeez and the head, research and investigation, Yusuf Adekunle.

Also present at the event were Provost ICOHS, Iwo, Mr Olayinka, Prof. Olurode,
DSA FCE, Iwo, Mr. Agbaje, FILSU Oscotech Alumni President, Mr Ismail Akolawole, and other notable dignitaries.
