The 12-man All Progressives Congress, APC, membership revalidation team has arrived in Osun State to begin revalidation of party chieftains ahead of the 2026 gubernatorial primary election.

The Osun State Working Committee, SWC, of the party has now directed all local government and area office chairmen to provide full support to the visiting team and state coordinators throughout the exercise.

State APC Chairman, Tajudeen Lawal, made the call while hosting the team led by Deputy Director of Elections Management, Organising Department, Malumi Dolapo John at the APC National Secretariat, Abuja.

Lawal, represented by the State Secretary, Alao Olabisi Kamoru, assured the visiting team that the state chapter had made all necessary arrangements to ensure the smooth conduct of the exercise.

He said the revalidation was a vital step in maintaining a credible and updated membership register in preparation for upcoming party activities in the state.
