The founder and Proprietor, Bright Broadcasting Limited, owners of DiamondFM Ilorin, Diamond FM Ilesa and Diamond Television, Apostle Oluwole Awotuyi, joined eminent individuals to welcome Nigerians to the new year with a charge on the people to be full of hopes.

Awotuyi also called on the nation’s leaders to ensure the installation of a democratically elected government in the general elections as a New Year gift to the electorates.

In his New Year message, released on Sunday, Awotuyi said Nigerians must be grateful for seeing the year 2023 in peace, despite the several upheavals in the past year.

“The continued existence of Nigeria as one nation is by the grace of God. Surviving the many challenges confronting the country is also by His grace. God loves Nigeria,” he said.

“It is left to us as a people, especially leaders of the nation to ensure that they do all that is necessary to ensure that the General elections in 2023 is not only free, fair and credible, but also ensures the emergence of good leaders.”

He admonished the people to spend the day praying for a peaceful General election in 2023, a God-giving leadership for the nation and transformation in all sectors.

He charged the people to celebrate with moderation and extend to the less privileged with love.
