CCT: International NGO Appoints Media Guru, Badewa as Managing Director


The Crown Charity Trust on Monday announced Badewa Adeyemi as its new managing director.  

The appointment was announced in a statement signed by the head, Corporate Affairs, Yusuf Mufutau.

Crown Charity Trust is a non-governmental organisation providing support to the local communities in Europe and Africa.

The Trust has sponsored tertiary education of over 150 indigent students in Nigeria and empowered 500 business women with start-up funds for small scale business in the local communities.

Just recently, the Trust partnered the Federation of Iwo land Students Union (FILSU) to sponsor  WAEC/GCE of five best students in Iwo community and also sponsored the summer lesson organised by the FILSU for all Iwo secondary school students. 

Badewa’s appointment is to provide leadership to the team in Nigeria, executing the Trust’s strategy to drastically reduce the number of out of school children and alleviate poverty. 

Before his appointment, Badewa had a stint in the banking industry as a bank manager. He joined CNSSL Communication, partnering MTN, as call centre manager and later became the general manager at Royal FM, Ilorin.  

He is currently the General Manager of DiamondFM Ilesa.

His appointment is confirmed and takes effect from Monday 9th September 2024.
