The Founder and Chairman, Bright Broadcasting Limited, Owners of Diamond FM network and Diamond TV Online, Most Senior Apostle Oluwole Awotuyi,  has charged Nigerians to integrate themselves in the act of love, sacrifice, selflessness and giving.

These, he said were the distinct hallmarks of Jesus Christ who came to the world to redeem souls and died for the transgressions of mankind.

Awotuyi made the charge on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, in a statement issued in Ilorin, Kwara State capital, to rejoice with Christians and other Nigerians as they celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. 

He described the birth of Jesus Christ as “the greatest gift from God to humanity, as it offered the world redemption and taught us a life of righteousness.

He said, “The birth of Jesus Christ is worth celebrating as it marks a turning point in the life of every Christian and reminds us of the virtues he embodies.

“We must therefore make it a way of life to love, sacrifice and give without measure. These were the virtues that distinguished Jesus Christ.”

Awotuyi urged Christian faithfuls to propagate the gospel and pray for Nigeria as they celebrate Christmas. 

He also called for a modest celebration at this austere period, just as he admonished the privileged to share with the needy in the mood of celebration.
