FG To Launch National Campaign To Promote Made-In-Nigeria Goods

As part of efforts to revitalise the manufacturing sector, the Federal Government is set to launch a national campaign to promote Made-in-Nigeria goods and services under the Nigeria First policy.

President Bola Tinubu, who made this known in Lagos at an event, was represented by the Minister of State for Industry, Trade and Investment, Senator John Enoh.

According to him, the campaign aims to shift national demand towards Nigerian products that meet global quality standards, while also addressing the country’s import dependency.

Tinubu noted that preliminary studies showed that such a campaign could boost the manufacturing sector by up to six percent and create over 500,000 jobs within the next three years.

The President further assured that through policies promoting production, consumption, and export of Made-in-Nigeria goods, his administration would continue to prioritise the growth of Nigeria’s manufacturing sector.
