The Founder and Chairman, Bright Broadcasting Limited, Owners of Diamond FM network and Diamond TV Online, Apostle Oluwole Awotuyi, says leaders and followers must embrace attitudinal changes to be able to achieve meaningful transformation across institutions in Nigeria. 

He noted that the solution to the various ills bedeviling the blessed nation lies in the hands of the people, who must be intentional about acting right in 2025.

Awotuyi stated this in his New Year message, issued on Wednesday, January first, 2025, to celebrate with Nigerians as they join the rest of the world to usher in the New Year.

The media proprietor said Nigeria is a nation blessed with human and natural resources, but must heed God’s directive to make the blessings count. 

“Nigeria is a nation loved by God and He has blessed us abundantly with human and natural resources. 

“We have, however, derailed from His path and failed as a people to follow his principles. Once we retrace our steps as leaders and followers, Nigeria will begin to prosper and shine among the comity of nations,” he said.

He charged leaders to embrace sincere sense of selfless service to humanity, love genuinely and discard the longstanding orientation of wealth acquisition in public office. 

He also admonished citizens at various institutions to shun corrupt tendencies, reject undue gratification from those in power and intensify the clamour for good governance.

While commending Nigerians for their patience, resilience and optimism, the business doyen expressed strong belief that the year 2025 will restore hope to the country.

He also called for prayers and support for those in positions of leadership.
