
The Old Student Association of Methodist High School, Ilesa has reiterated its commitment to support Government at all levels to ensure quality education in Osun State and Nigeria at large.
This was the submission of National President of the association, Arc Olugbenga Akintola during the World Press Conference held to mark the 70th Anniversary of Methodist High School, Ilesa.
Akintola reacting to the clamour by Missionary Churches to takeover their schools from Government, noted that such call may be unrealistic due to the economic challenges facing the country.
He further outlined and lauded some of the infrastructural projects executed by different old students of the great citadel of learning.

Earlier in her welcomed address, the National Publicity, Engr Oluwaseun Borokini noted that the celebration is a week long event full of educational and social ceremonies.
The present Principal of the School, Mr Felix Idowu thanked the Old Student Association for its commitment to the development and welfare of the school over the years.
However, the event also featured the old boys and girls embarking on a tree planting ceremony to celebrate the school long years legacy.
