Diamond FM hosts, nine other stations across Osun to join

The Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Osun State Chapter, and leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) will on Saturday hold a live radio programme which will be broadcast on over 10 radio stations across the three Senatorial Districts of Osun State.

The interactive session is aimed, among other things, at explaining the current situation in local government administration in Osun State, the efforts of the current APC chairmen to settle contributory pension payments, workers’ entitlements, retirees’ gratuities, and the legal issues surrounding local government administration in the state.

In a statement issued by the Osun ALGON Ad Hoc Committee Chairman on Publicity, Olayanju Kolapo, it was disclosed that the APC legal team and council chairmen will be available during the programme to educate members of the public on the legal issues surrounding local government administration in the state.

The programme will be hosted by Diamond FM 88.5, Ilesa, at 10:30 a.m. on Saturdayand will be aired live on Unique FM, Rave FM, and other local radio stations across the state.

The programme will afford members of the public the opportunity to ask questions directly from the council chairmen and their legal team on local government administration and other issues of public interest in the state.
