Port Harcourt, Rivers State, has been officially designated as the host city for the Playoffs and Final Four of the 2025 Nigeria Basketball Premier League (NBPL) season.

This announcement was made in a communiqué from the Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF), addressed to all participating clubs and relevant stakeholders.

The communiqué, jointly signed by Chairman of the Men’s Premier League, Babatunde Ogunade, and Secretary General of the NBBF, Amina O. Amanchi, confirmed that the League Management Committee received and approved a sole bid from Rivers Hoopers Basketball Club to host the Final Eight Playoffs and Final Four.

The Final Eight Playoffs are set to kick off with the arrival of the participating teams on Sunday, October 26,2025, with matches scheduled to take place from Monday, October 27,2025, to Sunday, November 2,2025 . Teams are expected to depart on Monday, November 3,2025.
