The indigenes of Sokoto State who are hoping to secure jobs through the state government’s recruitment exercise have been given extra time to apply.

The Sokoto State Recruitment Committee announced an extension of the recruitment portal deadline from October 6 to October 12, 2025.

The rationale behind the move is to give more time for eligible candidates to have the chance to participate in the ongoing recruitment exercise.

 They are to apply through the official portal which is https://employment.sokotostate.gov.ng, as no application will be recognized outside the official portal.

The committee urged applicants to apply with valid email addresses and phone numbers, and upload required documents such as educational certificates, proof of indigene, birth certificate, and National Identification Number.

 They are to ensure that they have stable internet connection during registration and cautioned residents not to pay anyone for the recruitment.
