Mr Aloba, the father of late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has broken his silence on his son’s death, saying that he had a terrible dream about the singer two days before his demise.

The bereaved father, who spoke on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 shortly after his son was buried, narrated his visit to the singer days before the sad incident.

Mr. Aloba, who noted that Mohbad was his friend, said he named him Olademeji, which means my second because he was the only son of his parents.

The father, who confirmed that he was very close with his son, remembered the last time he met with him which was on Saturday when he paid him a visit in his house, stating that they played, ate and drank together before they departed.

Speaking further, Mohbad’s father who claimed to have dreamt about his son two days before his death, said in the dream, he saw someone holding a gun ready to shoot him (Mohbad’s father), but he thought he had escaped the bullet in the dream, not knowing that his son will die two days after.

He said despite the allegations on social media, he is not suspecting anyone, adding that he is just a little concerned about the auxiliary nurse who injected his son, Mohbad, before he died, stressing that he wasn’t too sure of her qualifications.

Mr Aloba said he suspects that the injection might have complicated his son’s health.
