The Taraba State Ministry for Youth and Sports Development has advised the people of the state and Nigerians to be careful of unscrupulous elements parading themselves as officials of the ministry.

This was contained in a statement released by the Commissioner of the ministry, Joseph Joshua, on October 5, 2023 in Jalingo.

According to the commissioner, the warning became necessary to prevent the public from falling into the hands of such persons whom he described as enemies of progress.

Joshua said the scammers were going about tarnishing the state and ministry’s image, labelling them Governor Agbu Kefas’ enemies.

He further stated that anyone who knows whoever is piloting this merchandise of dishonour, to scam and fuel this act of falsehood to tarnish the image of the present administration, should report to him immediately without any delay, and necessary steps will be taken on such person’s or groups of persons.
