Kwara Dep Gov. leads dignitaries to open House 12 Workspaces in Ilorin


  • Founder, Oyawoye gives back to community as he clocks 60, retires from service

The Deputy Governor of Kwara State, Mr Kayode Alabi, on Friday, December 06, 2024, led the grand opening of House 12 Workspaces and Lifestyle Limited, with a declaration that the innovative establishment will serve the need of a productive population of residents in Kwara.

The colourful ceremony held at the facility location at Number 12, Oni Kanga Road, Police Road, GRA, Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.

The official grand opening of House 12 Workspaces and Lifestyle Limited, was part of a three-in-one event as it coincides with the 60th birthday and retirement ceremony of the founder and Chief Executive officer, Mr Olusoji Oyawoye.

Oyawoye, a native of Iludun Oro, Ifelodun Local Government Area, worked as a banker for many years before he retired as a top executive from The Bunker.

Cutting the ribbon at the grand opening, the Deputy Governor described the establishment as an initiative that adds to the emerging innovations taking over the business space in Kwara State.

Alabi expressed delight that such establishment, the first of such in Ilorin, Kwara State, is in line with the state government’s policy initiatives to open up the state to modern ways of working.

The Deputy Governor, while congratulating the founder and CEO on his 60th birthday and retirement, hailed him for considering it a priority to establish the workplace in his home state.

Addressing news men during a media parley to herald the occasion, Oyawoye said House 12 Workspaces and Lifestyle Limited is designed to meet the needs of remote workers, tech enthusiasts, startups, creatives, students, and event hosts in the heart of Ilorin.

Oyawoye, also a life coach explained that the facility is set up to redefine the concept of work-life balance for individuals and businesses seeking a dynamic and inspiring workspace experience.

According to him, House 12 Workspaces and Lifestyle Limited offers services to include shared workspaces designed for maximum productivity and collaboration, versatile meeting rooms ideal for intimate gatherings or professional workshops, and a spacious event hall capable of hosting a wide range of celebrations and corporate functions with a capacity of 150 to 200 guests.

It also “boasts of an on-site café, serving a variety of beverages and flavourful dishes, such as exotic Coffee blends like Cappuccino and Caramel Latte, as well as popular food options like Shawarma, chicken and chips, toast bread, sandwiches, and biscuits to satisfy every craving.

Oyawoye added that the facility also serves multimedia content creators with its backdrops and photoshoot spaces, perfect for capturing visuals.

The founder and management team, before merriment, led dignitaries on a tour round the modern facility with its state-of-the-art amenities.
