The Registrar of the High Court of Justice Ilesa Judicial Division has commenced committal proceedings against the Head of Administration of Ilesa West Local Government Mrs Felicia Olabimtan for her disobedience to the orders of Court.

His Lordship Hon Justice A.A. Aderibigbe had ordered Ilesa West Local Government, Osun State Governor, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs Osun State and Attorney General of Osun State from commencing or taking further step to fill the vacant stool of Owa Obokun Adimula of Ijesaland or Owa of Ijesaland.

However, on the 17th day of December, 2024 the said head of Ilesa West Local Government directed head of Bilaro Oluodo Ruling House to convey a meeting of Bilaro Oluodo for 18th December, 2024.

This was a flagrant disobedience to the court’s order. Hence, the issuance of form 48 which will lead her to imprisonment if she is guilty of contempt of court.
