Plateau State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Mr Lawandi Datti, has warned youths against jungle justice, advising them to report their concerns to constituted authorities.
Datti stated this when he visited the family of the late Fwinbe Gofwan, who was gruesomely murdered by a mob in Jos on September 25, over an allegation.
Gofwan, however, called on the Plateau Government to ensure that the perpetrators of the heinous crime were brought to justice.
Elder John Gobak, former Secretary to the Government of Plateau, described the murder of Gofwan as a devastating episode.
Gobak, who is the friend of the deceased father, said that the late Gofwan was an industrious and receptive young man who cared about people.
