Crown Charity Trust, a renowned NGO based in Nigeria, embarked on a humanitarian visit to Iwo Land, Osun State, as part of its ongoing efforts to support education and community development. Led by the newly appointed General Manager, Adeyemi Badewa alongside the secretary General, Babatunde Azeez and the team visited students participating in the summer lesson program organized by the Federation of Iwo Land Student Union.
The visit aimed to provide financial support to the students and their coordinators through a token of encouragement, promoting academic excellence and motivation. The team’s gesture was warmly received by the students, who expressed gratitude for the NGO’s kindness.
In a remarkable display of commitment to education, Crown Charity Trust announced its plans to sponsor five outstanding students for their West African Examinations (WAEC) and further pledged to support five students with the best WAEC results in their university education. This initiative aims to empower talented students and foster academic excellence in the community.
Following the visit to the students, the Crown Charity Trust team was received by His Royal Majesty, the Oluwo of Iwo Land. The team presented a cheque to the monarch for the summer class and does symbolizing the NGO’s commitment to supporting the community. The Oluwo, in his remarks, commended the Chairman of Crown Charity Trust, Chief Sefiu Adebayo Mufutau, an indigene of Iwo Land residing in the UK, for his philanthropic efforts and encouraged the team to continue their good work.
