Abayomi Arabambi, a National Publicity Secretary of the Lamidi Apapa-led faction of the Labour Party (LP) has alleged an inconsistency in the credentials of the presidential candidate of the party, Peter Obi.

Arabambi made this known while reacting to Obi’s press conference on the controversy over President Bola Tinubu’s Chicago State University certificate.

The LP’s National Spokesperson revealed that he was part of those who screened Obi before the presidential primary of the party, and according to him, the name written on Obi’s academic certificate from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, (UNN), was not the same written on his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) certificate.

LP’s Chieftain further stated that they were unaware of obi’s true identity even in the Labour Party due to everything being shrouded in secrecy at that time between him and Abure in Asaba, saying he scaled through during the presidential primary election because everything was in a rush.
