NFF Retains Danjuma as Falconets Coach

The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) has retained the services of Christopher Danjuma as the head coach of the women’s U-20 team.

This decision comes after Danjuma and other applicants underwent a screening and interview exercise by the federation’s Technical Committee.

According to a statement from Ademola Olajire, the NFF Director of Communications, Danjuma’s appointment was approved by the NFF Executive Committee.

Meanwhile, Danjuma will be assisted by the trio, Mansur Abdullahi, Effioanwan Ekpo and Yahaya Audu.

The Falconets will commence their 2024 Women’s World Cup qualifying campaign with a second-round, first-leg encounter against their counterparts from Mauritius in Saint Pierre on October 8, with the return leg scheduled for the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja on Saturday, October 14, 2023.v
