Niger State Governor, Mohammed Bago, has congratulated the ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) on its victory at the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC).

Governor Bago in a congratulatory message by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, extended his felicitation over the judgement delivered.

He further described the over 10 hours verdict of the five-man panel of the PEPC, led by Honourable Justice Haruna Tsammani held in Abuja, as sound and unprecedented.

The Governor further said it is not only a victory for the APC but for Democracy in Nigeria and other African Nations.

However, he appealed to President Bola Tinubu and his Vice, Kashim Shetima to be magnanimous in victory, and remain focused on actualising the Renewed Hope Agend of the present administrationn and not to discriminate against anyone in their constituencies but to carry everyone along irrespective of party or religious affiliations.
