The governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Kaduna State on Thursday September 28th, 2023 sacked Governor Uba Sani of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The tribunal declared that the 2023 governorship election in the state was inconclusive, after the petition filed by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and its candidate, Isa Ashiru.

According to reports, the verdict was announced via zoom after the judges shunned the physical hall.

However, the tribunal ordered that fresh elections be conducted in seven wards of four local government areas in the State.
