Tinubu To Address Governance In Healthcare Sector – Presidency


The Special Adviser to the President on Health, Dr Salma Anas, says the Renewed Hope Agenda will address governance in the healthcare sector in the country.

Anas said this on Thursday, September 14 in Abuja, at the Corona virus (COVID-19), Transparency and Accountability Project, (CTAP) summit, a health accountability project initiated by Budget and Code to promote transparency and accountability in the healthcare sector.

She, therefore, encouraged Nigerians to stand up as stakeholders in the business of the healthcare sector in Nigeria.

Salma, who made this known, saying that the agenda was introduced on the concept of Universal Health Coverage as its primary objective and considering health as an investment, further stated that the agenda pictures through health, creating new jobs, and having a lively healthy population, which could bring greater economic and social development to the Nigerians.
